SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES
We are committed to a green and sustainable workplace that uses less energy, creates less waste and promotes a culture of making a difference every day. Along with our resolution to practice law in a different way, we have stripped away traditional overheads in favour of a highly IT-based, efficient operation leading to a nearly paperless office.
PAPERLESS OFFICE
With our clients approval and when appropriate we encourage the use electronic drafting and revisions and most of our written communications are by email; scanning; fax to email, and printing to PDF. Photocopies of documents are on to two-sides of paper; research materials are in electronic form; electronic invoicing; and payment processing through paypal.
We will continue to develop other sustainable practices which today include the following:
| Recycling all recyclable materials (including office equipment) in a secure fashion. | |
| Limiting energy consumption by powering off all equipment outside office hours – natural and low energy lighting. | |

Reusing non-confidential scrap paper, folders and envelopes. |
| Purchasing supplies with high recycled content. |
